How to Make Money on the Go with Secret Shopping

Secret shopping is one of the best side gigs that take up little time and pay well at the same time. And it’s also convenient since you can make money while doing tasks that you were already doing. Here are a few different times that it makes sense to mystery shop.

While Shopping

Are you looking to make a few bucks while buying food and essentials at your local grocer? If so, secret shopping in grocery stores like Albertson’s, Meijer, Publix, and Wegmans might be right for you. 

While you shop, all you need to do is to take photos of one or more sections within the store and answer some questions. You can also shop in drugstores, club stores, and mass retailers like Target and Walmart.

While Getting Gas

Completing secret shopping missions while fueling up is another way to make money! For example, you might be assigned to take photos of display items inside, or earn at the pump by snapping pictures of the building, pumps, and prices.

While Eating Lunch

Grabbing something to eat on your break or your way home? Secret shop! Several restaurants use secret shopping to make sure customer service and food quality are up to standard. 

Locations for these shops range from fast food to fine dining. The best part? Most companies will reimburse you for any purchases made… lunch on us!

While Looking at Your Phone

Take a few minutes and take one of the online surveys some secret shopping companies occasionally offer. Surveys usually take just 5-10 minutes and can have decent payouts for how short they are.
